Puppy Supplies

Puppy supplies include a variety of the staples of dog care. Of course, many of these items may be much smaller to better suit the size of the puppy. In addition to this, some things much be special formulated to fit the more delicate needs of a puppy. Food, shampoo, treats, medicine, and various sprays are just a few examples of items which require the young age of a puppy to be taken into consideration.

Other items which qualify as puppy supplies are generally only used with puppies. these include such things as pads that are used for housetraining. Many sprays also exist to aid in housetraining. There are also supplements available to encourage healthy development.

Some useful puppy supplies include things which you don't buy from a pet store. For instance, many people find that it is useful to take a piece of cloth home with their new puppy which smells of its mother and littermates. This little bit of comfort does wonders to encourage a puppy to be more at ease in a new environment. For the same purpose, many people put the puppy to bed at night with a hot water bottle wrapped within a towel.
